Tuesday 25 March

Today at Sunflower Club we talked about bigger than and smaller than. We had to cut and paste pictures and sort them. We used lots of measurement language.

Here are two of our Sunflower Children working very hard.

Today at Sunflower Club we found lots of things that have a 's' sound. We were surprised at some - sausages, centipede, sand, cent and sandwich. Different letters can make the same sound! 

The children completed a worksheet of Sammy Snake and sorted pictures into groups. It was great to see all the children interacting so well with their mums.

Tuesday 11 March

Today we talked about the letter 'o' and the different sounds we hear in words. We made a list of words that start with o - otter, octopus, Oscar Orange, ocean and open.

Three new children started at Sunflower Club. Welcome to Trentham School. 

All new children make a sunflower on their first day and we put them up on our Sunflower wall.

When you visit The Sunflower Club you will have lots of fun
learning about the alphabet, numbers and practice how to write your name.  We listen to stories, use the i pads and complete learning activities that involve colouring, cutting and pasting.
